How to spot enemies easily in pubg mobile
Even if you have fair pubg mobile gameplay but if you don't know to spot or predict the location of enemy it's of no use. Because if suppose enemy spots you first and fires at you, it will be disadvantage to you and recovering through that situation might not be possible. Spotting enemy is not easy task, because nobody wants reveal their location, especially in final circle. Sometimes its so happens that all your teammates are able to spot the enemies and are even able to knock them but still you don't able to see anyone. This mainly happens due to lack of study of game and when you don't pay attention to mini map immediately when you hears a shot. Some players plays on ipad just for sake of spotting enemies easily as there is view advantage in ipad due to bigger screen. Some of the ways to spot or find the location of enemies are by looking for flashes of gun shots. Airdrop, where enemies likely to come. In last circle enemies are often prone near stones and trees. If there is a car parked next to house it means that enemies are in the house. Beside this there are some basic rules to improve spotting skills.
1. Distance from phone screen
Distance from phone screen matters as you have to pick minute details from a small screen. So try not to be too far from phone screen . Around 20 cm is optimal viewing distance while playing pubg, but the exact distance may vary depending on your eye sight.
2. Contrast and graphics
Always try to look for contrast difference, on dark background enemy will appear lighter and on light background enemy will appear darker.
Smooth (graphics) + soft or movie (style) are ideal for spotting enemies. Basically in balanced or higher graphic settings due to shadows and colourful (style) their are lots of visual feedback, hence brain get confuse and often neglect important details. There's no point in keeping shadows on and graphics higher than smooth as fps (frames per second) remains the same whether it is on HDR or ultraHD, but of course you get better quality on higher graphic settings.
3. Sound direction and brightness
Stereo audio system is used in pubg mobile, if there are shots coming from left direction, you would be able to hear sound through left earphone and if shots are coming from right direction, you would be able to hear sound through right ear phone. If you could simply follow the direction from which bullet shot sound is coming, you would be able to spot enemy quickly. Sometimes it so happens that you hear the sound but when you look over their you couldn't see enemy, at that time just change your position and then look for enemy through some other angle.
Often due to shadows and low brightness it becomes difficult to spot enemies barely hiding in some covers which would be otherwise visible under normal circumstances. So keep the brightness as high as possible for better spotting of enemies. By enabling anti-aliasing option in graphic settings, texture becomes smooth and provides better view. Anti-aliasing can counter the hill glitch (i.e. you are unable to hit the enemy on the hill). But it also increases device battery consumption, slightly decreases fps (frames per second) and puts more load on GPU. If you are serious gamer you cannot afford to miss even slightest hint so make sure to enable it.
